Trusts Manager/Senior Legal Executive | Private Client

Our client, a boutique law firm in Auckland's CBD, are looking to appoint a Trusts Manager/Senior Legal Executive, to join their Private Client team.

The role is varied and you will be working closely alongside an experienced and engaging Partner and Consultant. You will receive excellent support within a collaborative team environment and you will offer solid experience gained within a similar role where you have been exposed to Trusts/Wills/Estates within a New Zealand law firm and be comfortable working at a senior level.

About the role:

Some of the responsibilities you will be involved with will include:

• Winding up of Trusts;
• Drafting Trust documents;
• Estate administration;
• Drafting wills;
• A working knowledge and understanding of Property law and AML processes with a dedicated AML staff member handling the AML;
• Setting up of New Zealand Trusts for international clients.

About you:

You will bring significant and relevant qualifications and experience, including:

• Proven experience working at a senior level within a Private Client team;
• The ability to develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations;
• A proactive and reliable individual with a strong work ethic;
• Enjoy being part of a team and contributing to its success.
