About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for the next step in your career for a passionate senior family law solicitor with 3+years PQE to join our team. You will be appreciated for your top-end skills and encouraged to accept responsibility and take ownership. Amanda and Jennie have mentored a strong and collegial team. The role is client facing, meaning you will have the responsibility of running files, meeting with clients, and supervising junior lawyers in our team.

About you

- Strong knowledge of New Zealand family law and regulations.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage a caseload of property matters independently – with an opportunity to learn from the best and build up those areas of your practice that you feel you need guidance with.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.

- Experience in drafting and reviewing family law documentation.

- Strong client service skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
