Senior Lawyer | Partnership pathway on offer | General Practice

Our client is a well-established Bay of Plenty law firm highly regarded within their community. They are looking for a talented lawyer with 4-5 years' PQE to join their hard working team. The firm are offering a genuine medium term partnership prospect for someone who is prepared to invest in their career. You will work alongside a well respected Partner with a view to becoming an integral part of their practice.

Involvement in and experience desired:

• A strong background in property transactions (residential and commercial), and be able to take over difficult aspects of transactions where required;
• Leases;
• Building contracts;
• Business sales and purchases, including franchise agreements;
• Occupation Right Agreements and advising clients on those;
• Wills, and Powers of Attorney – taking instructions and advising;
• Relationship property, including negotiating, drafting, and advising on Contracting Out Agreements and Separation Agreements;
• Knowledge of Trusts and how they operate, ability to review and understand structure of Trust and assets, including whether to wind up or retain;
• Estates.
