Practice Manager | Accountancy & Advisory Firm

The successful candidate will have a strong professional services and HR background and you will need to have the confidence and proven experience to lead the internal HR function within the firm. It is envisaged the role is likely to start in February 2021, but there is some flexibility around this.

Some of the duties and responsibilities attached to this position will include:

• General HR functions including managing recruitment, overseeing the firm's induction and training programmes, monitoring employment contracts and policies, quality control and process implementation.
• General finance functions including providing cover for internal accountant's accounting and payroll duties as needed, monthly reporting and budget forecast.
• Liaising with key suppliers.
• Managing the administration team.
• Coordinating events and functions.

Our client is looking for a well-rounded individual with stellar communication skills, strong attention to detail and you must be highly organised. It is imperative you have proven experience at either a Practice Management or HR Manager level within a legal or corporate New Zealand firm. You must also have confidence in your abilities and be professional and polished in your approach. This role would sit within the leadership team and would include reporting to the Board.
