Litigation Lawyer | 1-5 years' PQE

Our client is a highly regarded and well established law firm of long standing. Their litigation team, led by a team of excellent Partners, are looking for a litigator with 1-5 years' solid experience gained within a reputable New Zealand law firm(s). You will have a proven background practising in civil litigation. The work will be varied and challenging and you will work across the entire litigation team. Whilst this role will have a focus on civil litigation, you will also be exposed to a number of general litigation matters.

Skills, Experience and Character

• You will have proven civil litigation law experience and be confident working across a wide range of litigation matters;
• You will possess strong time management and be a collaborative team member;
• Have a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm to follow through;
• A strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with clients and team members;
• Ability to handle a number of matters simultaneously and to adequately prioritise.

Some of the litigation matters you will be involved with will include:

• Extradition law;
• Copyright law;
• Casino law;
• Estate disputes;
• Trust disputes;
• Property disputes (including Councils);
• Shareholder disputes:
• Joint venture disputes;
• Acting for liquidators;
• Real estate law;
• Negligence claims.
