Our client is a highly reputable central Auckland law firm and they are looking for a Legal Secretary/Assistant to support their busy property team. Legal experience is a must and ideally you will have a background in property law, but candidates who are enthusiastic and keen to learn this area of law will also be considered. It is paramount that you possess excellent MS Office skills, particularly Word and formatting documents. You will need to have a superior typing speed with a high level of accuracy. The lawyers in this team have a heavy workload and they are looking for someone who is supportive and really enjoys their work. You will take pride in making their days run smoothly and your high end organisational skills will be put to good use to make their jobs easier.
The support team in this firm is very collegial and they are constantly looking out for each other. You will receive ongoing training and some of the software you will work with will include ADLS Web forms, Landonline, Nitro Pro, CompareDocs, ShareFile and BigHand (for a small amount of dictation).
