Legal Counsel | 2 - 7 years' PQE

Our client is a leader in the agriculture finance industry and they are looking to appoint a high calibre and talented Legal Counsel. They are looking for a like-minded individual to manage the legal and security requirements of their fast growing and dynamic organisation. You will also be responsible for compliance with legislation, policies and procedures and developing and maintaining risk management and governance frameworks.

Our client seeks exceptional candidates with proven legal experience of between 2 – 7 years' in general practice or maybe you have a mix of in-house and general practice. You will have excellent academics, be ambitious and self-motivated, yet able to fit naturally into the distinctively collaborative, mutually supportive and friendly culture that this firm actively encourages. Other attributes important to the success of this role include:

• Excellent communication skills, articulate in writing and orally
• The ability to see the big picture whilst maintaining a pragmatic approach
• Demonstrated knowledge of operational risk and compliance management and obligations
• Possess the confidence and professionalism to maintain and develop strong client relationships whilst providing exceptional customer service
• Can analyse complex factual and legal situations with a determination to get to the “bottom of things” and come up with sensible commercial solutions
• The ability to prioritise whilst juggling multiple “balls in the air”
