The Role

We are looking for an experienced banking and finance lawyer with 4+ years' experience gained in New Zealand or overseas.

You will play an integral part in this energetic and high performing team and some of the matters you will work on will include acquisition and leveraged finance, real estate finance, structured finance and debt capital markets. You will work with borrowers and lenders on a broad range of complex and innovative financing transactions across different industry sectors.

Role Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience in a highly regarding banking and finance team;
  • Passion and drive for banking and finance law and a desire to provide exceptional legal services to clients;
  • Strong technical and commercial abilities;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of this collaborative team;
  • Professional and confident in your approach which will enable you to build solid client working relationships.
