Associate to Senior Associate | Commercial Disputes/Litigation

This role promises to be varied and challenging. Our client is looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join their commercial disputes/litigation team. You will need to have 4-8 years' experience gained within a reputable law firm specialising in litigation and looking to move your career forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on commercial disputes and regulatory matters;
• Assisting with banking and financial services;
• Comfortable supporting two solicitors in the team;
• Working with international and New Zealand companies;
• Actioning contracts, dealing with hearing appeals.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational skills as well as high level initiative, energy and enthusiasm and the ability to follow through;
• Ability to communicate under pressure and to manage priorities with flexibility;
• Preparing briefs and other litigation documents;
• Collaboration and team work on all matters;
• Friendly and supportive team member with a strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with team members and clients.
