Associate | 4-7 years' PQE | Litigation | 9 month contract

Our client is a well respected and highly regarded top-tier law firm. Their litigation team are looking for an experienced litigator for a 9 month parental leave cover.

You will need to have 4-7 years' PQE and you will work alongside other exceptional litigators and like-minded professionals in a collaborative team environment. The work is challenging and fast moving across general litigation and regulatory and compliance work, with a mixture of global and local clients and franchises.

About you

You must have a solid background in general litigation, present as confident and be a self-starter with the ability to manage and conduct your own matters with Partner involvement as needed. There is no Court work so you may be a UK or Australian qualified lawyer with relevant law firm experience, with the right to work in New Zealand. Someone who is commercially minded with a client focused attitude will fit into this role.

In addition you will have:

• Strong client relationship and service skills;
• Strong technical, drafting and research skills;
• Strong teamwork ethic and enjoy being part of a very collaborative work environment;
• An engaging manner with excellent communication skills at all levels;
• Experience working in a similar role in a highly regarded litigation team.
